Privacy policy

What we collect
- Account details: your name, work email, phone number and job title.
- Organisation profile: the business information you enter, including public contact details, locations, markets served, capabilities, logo and photos.
- Registration source: the event or campaign link you used to join (for example an exhibition QR code).
- Basic technical data needed to keep you signed in and to protect the service.
Why we use it
- To create and manage your account and organisation profile.
- To publish profiles you choose to list in the public directory.
- To review and verify organisations, and to contact you about your registration.
- To produce aggregated, anonymised statistics about the MICE industry.
- To send news, research invitations or event invitations only if you opted in.
What is public
Only listed, approved profiles appear publicly, and only their profile fields. Your account email and phone number are not published unless you enter them as public contact details.
Where it is stored and who processes it
Data is hosted by our service providers Supabase (database, in the European Union, Frankfurt) and Vercel (application hosting). We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account or listing is active and delete or anonymise it on request or after closure, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your rights
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and withdraw consent for optional uses at any time. You may complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
